BREAK IT DOWN DAY - FRIDAY 13TH OCTOBER 2023

Make your pledge to BREAK IT DOWN by hosting a day at your school, on Friday 13th October 2023, filled with activities that promote upstanders, calling out stereotyping and bias, and unifying ALL YOUTH, no matter who they are, where they're from or what they look like. 

To make your pledge to participate, simply RSVP so we can connect with you and support you to host the most impactful day possible for our young people and so we can collectively measure the impact of the BREAK IT DOWN DAY by sharing photos, stories and data on the day. 

Schools and organisations can structure the day in whatever way suits them, but we encourage your day to be youth-led and centred. We do ask that you share details of what you are planning post-event, as well as photos and stories afterwards, so we can include this in our evaluation and impact report. 

To support you, the awesome student leaders at Sunshine Heights Primary School will be putting together an elephantine collection of activity ideas for the 'BREAK IT DOWN DAY' (which you will be found over at the RESOURCES page real soon!) and we encourage all youth and involved adults on the day to wear red, symbolising that - no matter who they are, where they are from or what they look like - we all have red blood underneath our skin, unifying us as humans.
