About the event
As part of the Break It Down Project, the student leaders of Sunshine Heights Primary School will be hosting a filming day on Tuesday 3rd October from 9:30AM-3PM at Visy Cares Hub. The students will be supported by Ralph Barba from Making Media and they will be interviewing young people and community organisations to gather stories and footage for the 'Break It Down Documentary'.
They are inviting young people who have a story to share about their experiences with stereotyping and bias - and its impact - to come on the day, share their story and feature in the documentary. They are also inviting people from community organisations to come on the day and feature by sharing tips, guidance, information, statistics/impact around stereotyping/bias in youth so that we can make this documentary an educational resource for young people too!
Do you have any young people you work with who you may be interested…
